Sonen Nannies Training Program

According to the Nanny Survey performed by the US nanny institute in 2019, “ 92% of nannies feel training in child care is needed to be a professional nanny”.

We want respectful parenting and child caregiving to be accessible to everyone. That is why we provide to all Sonen nannies with a free Training Program about the principles of respectful child care and practical aspects of working in a private household.

Our training is based on the following methods: Montessori education, Pikler’s and Waldorf systems as well as Constructivism and positive discipline.

The training will be held online until the COVID-19 pandemic completely resolves

The training takes 2 to 3 hours

Mixed format including theoretical resources and practical suggestions.

The trainees will have access to our online discussion group where they can ask questions, share resources, and get support.

Discover how to create a safe environment that encourages the child to learn through having fun and using role play.

*HOLDING BOUNDARIES COMMUNICATION

Learn how to create age appropriate behavioral and developmental expectations and discover strategies to help the children in moments of crying and despair.

*PROFESSIONALISM AND GOOD COMMUNICATION

Set strategies to create successful and long lasting relationships between the nanny and the employer, encouraging good and active communication, respect and professional boundaries.
