FAQS
We are an international agency that only partners with nannies with a natural inclination for Nurturing and Respectful Parenting – a guiding principle of childhood development and holistic childcare.
We provide theoretical and demonstrative training based on the Montessori method of education, the Pikler’s and Waldorf systems, and positive discipline. We offer support through supervision, advice and reference materials to ensure continuing professional growth and development.
Each child is unique, and as a parent you know your child better than anyone else. Before we match you with a nanny we will talk with you in detail about your child. The more we know, the better we can match you with the right nanny.
This is at the heart of our distinctive approach. Nannies will be trained in different methodologies for holistic childhood care, to ensure that your children are not just looked after but are encouraged to grow in their personal, emotional, social, creative, physical, communicative and linguistic development.
Respectful parenting recognizes that children are no different than anyone else – they deserve the same level of care and respect as we give others, no matter their age group. Over the course of our training and preparation, we will be working alongside Nannies to help them understand these principles and explain the ways in which they can practice respectful caregiving throughout everyday activities. Our goal is to ensure that every child feels loved, cared and respected.
Background checks are run as part of the placement process in compliance with applicable law and covering the following:
- Criminal Background Investigation
- Social Security Number Verification
- Sex Offender Registry
- DMV Driving Record
- National Wants and Warrants

California law requires Nannies to be fingerprinted and registered with TrustLine – the comprehensive state-wide background check which includes access to the California Department of Justice and FBI databases.

An introduction fee of US$195 is payable before starting the search for your Nanny in line with your personalized requirements. This covers some of the costs associated with our initial work to pre-select and onboard suitable candidates. The amount will be deducted from your final placement fee.
Our experience shows that many common issues or concerns arising between the employer and the Nanny can be resolved with communication and counseling. However, if the problem can’t be solved, for long term placements one free candidate replacement is applicable, within 30 or 90 days from the first day of employment.
We will be available for any questions you have and will continue providing a personalized level of service within the first 30 or 90 days after the placement. We also offer support through in-person supervisory visits when needed, with an additional charge that can be discussed beforehand.
