How we work
We would love to help you find the perfect person to take care of your little ones. Here are few things you should know before starting the process:
Understanding your family’s
Tell us about your family and childcare needs by completing the Family Registration Form.
After filling it out, a placement specialist will contact you and schedule a Zoom interview or in-person visit to discuss your childcare needs and the ideal profile of the child caregiver, and to answer any questions you may have.
Candidate screening
Once we have a good understanding of your family’s needs and the characteristics of your ideal child caregiver, we’ll begin our screening process. We’ll conduct face to face interviews with child caregivers, request references and conduct background checks.
Interviews
We will send you profiles of at least two candidates and facilitate interviews with you to identify the perfect fit for your requirements.
Training for your Nanny
Once you have selected the most appropriate nanny for your child, we will support you through the hiring process. We will provide training to the Nanny based on the Montessori method of education, Pikler’s and Waldorf child development systems, and positive discipline.
“Getting to know your child” and emergency forms will be completed by the parents to ensure that the nanny has all the important information about the child.
Placement and trial period
The entire process from completing the Family Registration Form to placement of the selected Nanny typically takes between 3-5 weeks. A trial period of 3 days enables us to confirm the suitability of the placement, or alternatively to identify a new match.
Follow Up
After the trial period, we will continue providing a personalized level of service. We will be available for any questions you have by making an appointment.
We also offer support through in person supervisory visits if needed, with an additional charge that can be discussed beforehand.
